If there is one financial institution that makes money whether markets are going up, down left right or diagonal ways, it is Goldman Sachs, or GS for short.
Some argue that an institution such as GS is so big that they actually have the size to be able to ‘decide’ which way the markets will go. Makes for an interesting read – after all: $100 Million a day in pure profits? They must be doing something right..
